TESTS and GRADES
Weekly quizzes given during the discussion session on Thursday. All quizzes
together will be equivalent to a test and the lowest grade will be dropped
to compensate for any absence from a quiz. NO MAKE-UP QUIZZES.
There will be three exams, spread out through the semester,
each will weigh exactly the same (as well as the quizzes together) and a final
exam of the same weight. You must bring your University Picture ID to all
exams. Make-up exams will only be given to students with documented excuses
that are acceptable and to those who call no later than the same day of the
exam at 996-3095 and leave a message (24 hour answering machine). I reserve
the right to give makeup exams that are of greater difficulty than the original
exam.
Grades are based on the following averages
- A 90%--100%
- B 80%--89%
- C 70%--79%
- D 60%--69%
- INC will not be given except in extraordinary circumstances.
