Text: Calculus, Second Edition, by James Stewart
Math 210 is a three hour course; this section meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in at 10:00 am. The course will be organised so that Mondays and Wednesdays will be devoted to new material, and Fridays will be devoted to a discussion of problems and a (usually) a quiz.
Grading: Grades will be based on the following assignments:
Quizzes (100 pts total) will be given more or less weekly.
Three hourly exams (100 points each) will be given in lecture during the quarter. I have tentatively scheduled these for September 15, October 13, and November 17. these dates, particularly the latter ones, are subject to change.
A final exam (300 points) will be given at the end of the course.
