Career Overview
I received my BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tufts University in 2003.I worked at UBS Investment Bank until 2008 as Loan Administrator and Business Analyst.
During this time I received my MS in Mathematics from Fairfield University with a focus on Financial Mathematics.
From 2008-2010 I served at the Bahá'í World Centre in Haifa Israel as Treasury Analyst.
Since 2011 I have been a private tutor of math, statistics and computer programming in both Katonah, NY and Chicago, IL.
In the fall of 2011 I enrolled at UIC with the aim of a PhD. I am interested in Game Theory and Machine Learning.
My thesis advisor is T.E.S. Raghavan.
My areas of research include: games on networks, feature-effecient machine learning, correlated equilibrium, Final-Offer Arbitration.
My Thesis is entitled An Analysis of Multi-Issue Final-Offer Arbitration. As of October, 2013 my Erdös number is 4.
Other Interests
I am very active in game design. I have been designing both card and board games, as well as some computer games. I have been making stained glass windows for many years. I have been known to dabble in puppetry (puppet making and performing). I enjoy web development and programming. I am a vegan and have been since 2000. I am also a Bahá'í and I am very enthusiastic about discussing and studying religion.I also enjoy bad movies.
I also have a daughter named Carys.
