Text: Multivariable Calculus, 3rd ed. by James Stewart. You should read the textbook before the classroom discussion of a topic as indicated on the schedule of reading assignments.
Computer: We will use Maple, a computer algebra and graphics system. You will have an account in the Math Computer Lab in 200 SEO. This program is also installed in UIC Computer Center Labs at various campus locations.
Web: {There is (or will be) a Math 210 web page at
Homework: You are encouraged to discuss homework problems with your fellow students. Working in groups makes the explanation of approaches and solutions a part of the process and helps you learn. Your goal is to find solutions and to communicate your work in a convincing manner.
