    • Standard Student Edition of MapleV (rel. 5.0) at UIC Micro/Station (not on current Software Price List!) on the first floor of CCC at the North End near the Dorms, and ask for Springer-Verlag MapleV 5.0 Student Edition, about $90, specify MacOS or Win95/NT system. This is ISBN 0-387-14240-1. For Windows the requirements are: 486DX or SX w/ math co-processor, 32M HD space, 8M RAM, Win 3.1x or better. For Mac ( same box ) 68030 or any PPC, 30 to 35M HD space, 8M RAM dedicated to Maple and 12M total, system 7.1 or later. (Recommended)

    • Shorter Student Edition of MapleV (rel. 4.0) at Microstation, Click for the Software Price List, or just go to Microstation on the first floor of CCC at the North End near the Dorms, and ask for MapleV 4.0 Student Edition, about $60, Part No. 20-90-200-A, specify MacOS or Win95/NT system.

      Maple V Release 4 is also available from Springer-Verlag publishers for $69, and is described by Waterloo Maple Software - Student Version.

    • Maple For MS-Windows FTP Download Directory lists the files for free DEMO of Maple V Release 4.0 software, ftp the instruction executable files:

      • README
      • mvr4demo.exe (2.3MB)

      (Caution (Caveat Usor): obviously, a shorter version with expiration date, but a student found it good enough for the Math 220 class).
