The Fall 1998 Midwest Partial Differential Equations Seminar will be held at the University of Illinois at Chicago,
October 30 - November 1, 1998. There will be two talks on Friday afternoon,
five talks on Saturday and two on Sunday morning. On Saturday, there will
also be a lunch and round table discussion, requested by the NSF, to consider the directions that partial differential equations might most profitably take in the next years. The results of this discussion will be communicated to the NSF.
