This is a conference on Knot Theory and Its Ramifications.
The Conference will meet on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, Saturday, Sept. 11, 20210 and Sunday, Sept 12, 2010. There will be three talks on Friday, starting at 1PM. On Friday, the talk at 3PM by Sergei Chmutov will be the departmental colloquium, and at 4PM is followed by a Mathematics Department Tea in room 300 of SEO. The conference will resume at 5PM. All talks will be in 636 SEO or 612 SEO on the UIC Campus. SEO stands for "Science and Engineering Offices" and is located at 851 South Morgan Street near the corner of Morgan and Taylor Streets. The Mathematics Department has its administrative offices on the third floor of SEO. Elevators will escort you to the sixth floor for the conference.

REIMBURSEMENT.
NSF Funds for reimbursement are very limited. (Some people have been promised full support. You know who you are.) Those who want reimbursement should fill out the form below (print it out and send back to Kauffman by regular mail) along with additional information. The additional information consists in ALL receipts, including hotel, airline and other papers. If you are a permanent resident of the USA, but not a citizen we need a copy of that information and a copy of your passport. If you are traveling from outside the United States we need a copy of your passport photo page AND we need a copy of the page in your passport that contains the visa stamp AND we need a copy of the little slip of paper on that visa page that will surely be removed before you go back. THIS MEANS THAT YOU MUST COPY AND GIVE TO LOU KAUFFMAN THAT CURCIAL LITTLE SLIP OF PAPER DURING THE CONFERENCE. If you do not have a social security number, you need not fill out that part of the form. Please DO SUPPLY YOUR VISA TYPE on the form. See Reimbursement Form.
