Bio: I am currently in year 2 of a Research Assistant
Professorship at UIC.
Here is my CV. [updated August, 2011]
Research: I work in mathematical logic, in model
theory. I am interested in classification theory for unstable
theories. My research focuses on using Ramsey-type theorems to manipulate generalized
indiscernible sequences.
Publications:
(with Byunghan Kim and Hyeung-Joon Kim) ``Tree Indiscernibilities,
Revisited.'' (submitted) on arxiv
``Characterization of NIP theories by ordered
graph-indiscernibles,'' on arxiv (on sciencedirect)
Here is an updated version of my thesis, Characterization Theorems by Generalized
Indiscernibles.
[Spring 2011]: I was an instructor for Math 210 and Math 430
[Fall 2010]: I was an instructor for Math 180. This was the course webpage.
Activities:
In Fall 2011, I co-organize the Logic Seminar.
Please send me email if
you are interested in speaking.
I am helping to organize AWM activities here at UIC and maintaining the AWM site.
