TITLE: Model theory of differential fields with commuting derivations<br>
ABSTRACT:
In a section of her 1997 thesis, Tracey McGrail details the model theory of
differential fields of characteristic 0 with m commuting derivations. This
theory has a model completion m-DCF , which admits elimination of
quantifiers, has elimination of imaginaries, and is omega-stable. I will
survey her work, including the computation of the Morley rank of m-DCF
using results of W.Y. Pong for the single derivation/several variables
case.
