It's clearer each day that the backlash against the Standards and the more serious Math Wars being fought around the country cannot easily be swept away. Instead, both make clear that there are real differences in what different people from different camps VALUE. While these value differences are not broad, they are real and significant where they exist. This talk will look at some of the areas where what we value is truly different and how we might forge some compromises to better move ahead.
