About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008 with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences with an additional major in Logic and Computation. I finished my M.A. in Mathematics at UCLA in December 2009. You can view my main page here.

I began working as a teaching assistant in 2006 while I was still an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon, and have continued to TA at UCLA and UIC. I began privately tutoring in 2008, when I started my graduate work at UCLA. Please visit the testimonials page to see what other students have to say about my teaching.

When not teaching or working on my research, I enjoy performing magic. I am a member of The Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA. I also enjoy playing music and making things out of stained glass. I love marine life and I spend my weekends volunteering at the Shedd Aquarium.
