Homework and Quiz Grading Policy for My Section
Homework (50 points total): Homework for a particular day is to be turned in at the beginning of lecture. With rare exceptions, no late homework accepted. I will drop roughly 20% of the lowest homework scores to compensate for missed homework due to illness, etc.
Quizzes (50 points total): Most weeks there will be a 10-15 minute quiz given in class or in discussion. Quizzes and the subject matter they cover will be announced in advance. With rare exceptions, no makeup quizzes. I will drop at least 20% of the lowest quiz scores to compensate for missed quizzes due to illness, etc.
