Description:

Complex numbers, analytic functions, complex integration, Taylor
and Laurent series, residue calculus, branch cuts, conformal mapping,
argument principle, Rouche's theorem, Poisson integral formula,
analytic continuation. Prerequisite: Grade C or better in Math 210.
Textbook by J. Brown and R. Churchill â€œComplex variables and
Applicationsâ€ 7^{th} edition.

#### Testing system:

Homework assignments -- given every week and are due Friday the
following week. Exercised will be graded selectively. Two 1 hour
exams - 100pts each. Final - 150pts. Homework - 100pts. Total -
450pts.
