• Homework and grades
  I will be assigning a number of problems during the semester, probably at somewhat irregular intervals. Problems will be posted here. Solutions will generally be due one week after problems are assigned. When a problem is posted I will announce it in class and also send an e-mail to the class list.

  It may be possible to assign grades on the basis of homework alone. If it becomes necessary to give a final exam I will announce it a few weeks before the end of the semester.
