The final will take place on May 4th, 8-10am, in the same room 219 TH. Sample problems include those I posted above, plus homework #8. Also review your other homework too. It is important to understand the proofs given in class so that you are prepared to use your skills of proving on the final. Sample final is here.
Homework assigned every week on Friday due the following Friday.
No makeups for homework or quizzes.
The course will give a rigorous introduction into the techniques you know from calculus and the beginning of mathematical analysis. We will cover tentatively Chapters 1-5 in Howie , and maybe a part of Chapter 7.
