The Chicago Area SIAM Student Conference (CASSC) is a free conference highlighting the diverse applications of mathematics, and promoting them to the youngest research community. It is open to students from all fields, including engineering, computer science, biology, chemistry, social sciences, and physics.
Welcome to the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Student Chapter at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC).
Our chapter hosts the applied mathematics seminars held at the department Monday evenings throughout the semester. Please see the linked table for specifics. Everyone is welcome!
