Materials: Applied Statistics for Engineers and Physical Scientists, 3rd Edtion, J. Ledolter and R. V. Hogg
Content: Graphical and tabular representation of data; Introduction to probability, random variables, sampling distributions, estimation, confidence intervals, and tests of hypotheses. Includes R applications.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in MATH 210.
Grading: Final - 40%, Midterms (2) – 20%, Homework and quizzes – 20%
