About Me

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I defended my thesis in October 2016, and I will receive my Ph.D. in May 2017. I graduated from Pomona College in 2007 with a B.A. in math.

I am interested in Arithmetic Dynamics, Number Theory, and Complex Dynamics - specifically the p-adic analogs of well understood objects and phenomena from Complex Dynamics. My thesis advisor is Professor Laura DeMarco from the Mathematics Department at Northwestern University.

This year I am a Visiting Professor for the Indiana University Northwest Math Department.
