- We will attempt to create exams so that the
following curve applies:
- A: 85%
- B: 75%
- C: 65%
- D: 55%
- F: below 55%
- However, due to the inability to predict the outcome of exams, these
cutoffs will likely change to some extent. The final grade cutoffs
will not be determined until after the final exam has been
graded.
- There is no extra credit. Your grade will be determined by your
coursework alone. It is up to you to seek help early instead of
waiting until the end of the summer. If the end comes and you are
in danger of either failing or getting a grade that will not
transfer, there is nothing I can do. I cannot bump up your grade
for any reason. Bumping grades is not fair to the other students in
the class.
