John Solak
Hello, my name is John Solak and I am a Mathematics Graduate Student at UIC.
My current research interests lie in Mathematical Logic (Model Theory and Proof Theory) and Metamathematics, Abstract Algebra, and Topology.
E.g. TFAE statements as Algebraic structures, Hyperoperations, generalizations of impossible objects. In particular, I find
fascinating any algorithms/procedures in any of these areas which may be repeated ad infinitum.
I am currently studying at the University of Illinois at Chicago .
Prior to grad school here, I studied at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) where I received my Bachelor's in Mathematics
with a Doctoral Prep. concentration, with minors in Philosophy and in Spanish.
