Hi. I am a research assistant professor in the MCS program at UIC. I attended The University of Wisconsin-Madison for my undergraduate work and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my graduate studies, graduating in May of 2011 with a PhD. My PhD advisor was Jozsef Balogh.
My primary area of research is in extremal combinatorics and graph coloring. I am interested in probabilistic methods, applications of the Regularity Lemma, the dependent random choice method, as well as other topics like perfect graphs, graph minors, and matroids.
