Set theory workshop

October 2016

The workshop will be held at the University of Illinois at Chicago on October 20-23. We will cover topics in forcing, large cardinals, applications of set theory. The workshop is mostly aimed at graduate students and postdocs, but can also be beneficial to anyone interested in current developments in set theory. We will have three tutorials from experts in the field and several talks by younger researchers. The invited speakers are:

Limited travel support is available. Requests should be directed to Dima Sinapova. Such requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis within the limits of the budget. Graduate students, young researchers, female mathematicians and members of underrepresented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.

Lodging:

If you are a speaker, we will make lodging arrangements for you and will contact you to provide further details as the conference approaches.
