Outside of math my interests include playing political strategy games (Diplomacy), watching other people play political strategy games on television (Big Brother), and reading novels that involve a lot of political strategy elements (A Song of Ice and Fire). If you're also a fan of any of these things, please feel free to chat with me about them - especially Big Brother since very few people I know watch the show, and I love to compare and contrast players and their approaches to the game. I have some opinions!

I usually have a couple of non-math related projects going at any given time. In the past I've tried improv comedy and home improvement. I'm not terribly good at either, but it's fun to try! Currently, I'm producing a short reality web series about a game of Diplomacy.
