Location

The conference will take place in the city of Jaca, from the 22nd to the 26th of June, 2009.

The town of Jaca is located in the north of Aragon (province of Huesca), right in the middle of the Pyrenees. It is an important touristic destination for ski lovers in winter, and nature and adventure sports lovers in summer.

It has a population of around twelve thousand, but during peak tourist seasons this number can easily double or even triple.

Summer weather is usually warm and sunny during the day, but temperatures can drop significantly at night (a jacket or sweater is recommended).

The conference will take place at the Palacio de Congresos (left). It is within walking distance from the student residence (approx. ten minutes).
