Jeff Sommars

Graduate Student

Department of Math, Stats, and CS
University of Illinois at Chicago

I recently earned my mathematics PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago where I studied computational algebraic geometry. My research interests lie in the intersection of tropical geometry and numerical algebraic geometry. I was a student of Jan Verschelde.
