The Fall 2010 Midwest Partial Differential Equations Seminar will be held at the University of Illinois at Chicago, November 13-14, 2010.

Prof. Sulem will also be giving the Departmental Colloquium on Friday, November 12, at 3:00 PM in Room 636 SEO. The Colloquium will be Interaction between internal and surface waves in a two layers fluid.


Young Researchers Schedule of Talks Young Researchers

There will be several short presentations by Young Researchers -- graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. If you would like to present a 20 minute talk, please see Midwest PDE Application for Financial Support and attach an abstract (PDF preferred) for consideration by the Organizing Committee.

Support for Young Researchers - Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows may request financial support by filling out the Midwest PDE Application for Financial Support at http://www.math.uic.edu/midwpde/mpde66/mpdeapp.htm.

Funds are limited. Applications should be sent to Jeff Lewis <jlewis@uic.edu>before October 13, 2010.

Reimbursement of Supported Participants

Supported Persons should request reimbursement by fill the Midwest PDE Reimbursement Form. If you have not previously been reimbursed by UIC, we ask that you request a [University of Illinois Banner] Vendor Number

Please return (in the envelope provided) at the Seminar or before November 21, 2010 via mail to:
